Care Physicians – Family Practice
Lakeshore Medical Clinic has more than 100 physicians, including
primary care physicians in family
practice, internal
medicine and pediatrics,
plus specialists.
Some of Lakeshore’s family practice physicians also specialize in
obstetrics. Primary care physicians are the starting point for most
health conditions. They provide initial diagnosis, arrange for
diagnostic and laboratory testing, and refer to specialists as needed.
Lakeshore Medical physicians serve a variety of medical specialties
and see patients from all Lakeshore locations. Physicians are on staff
at most hospitals within the communities they serve. If acute or
advanced care is required, Lakeshore physicians may refer patients to
local hospitals and medical centers such as St.
Luke’s Medical Center, St.
Luke’s South Shore, West
Allis Memorial Hospital or Aurora
Sinai Medical Center. Some physicians are also on staff at
Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. Lakeshore physicians continue to
be partners in their patients’ care when referring to specialists or
other facilities.
