General X-ray is the most basic form of medical imaging provided at Lakeshore Medical Clinics Radiology Department. These images are known as X-rays and are most often used to detect bone or joint problems, or to check the heart and lungs (chest X-ray), to mention a few. There is no preparation or injections for X-rays - it takes 10-15 minutes. These images are interpreted by a doctor called a Radiologist. Radiologists detect and diagnose medical conditions in the body, dictate a report and forwarded the report to your physician. At Lakeshore Medical Clinics our Radiologists are Board Certified, our Technologists are registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Lakeshore Medical Clinic Radiology services are not limited to Lakeshore Medical Clinic physicians. We welcome patients from the Southeastern Wisconsin/Northern Illinois areas – Just bring your prescription to any of the facilities listed above. Walk-In patients are welcome.
